The view is just the beginning at Elms Restaurant

One meal in our award-winning restaurant and you'll be back for more!

The first thing you'll notice when you walk into Elms Restaurant is the light and space created by our glass conservatory and the floor to ceiling windows. Then the magnificent parkland views will hold your gaze. You'll soon discover that not only is the atmosphere memorable, but so is the brilliant service and the modern Australian cuisine. Our chef proudly showcases regional and local wines and produce, and has designed the menu to make the most of seasonal offerings.

Enjoy a drink in the relaxing wine lounge before dinner. The restaurant and bar are open to the public as well as to our Tumbarumba Motel guests. The mouth-watering menu suits all tastes and budgets. We also have a beautiful outdoor alfresco area.

We're fully air conditioned for your comfort during summer, with the open log fire a popular place in winter. Licensed for 80 guests, Elms Restaurant is one of regional Australia's finest examples of superb casual dining with fabulous food and function space.

Should our house guests prefer it, room service is also available.

Elms Restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday evenings and we are happy to cater for group bookings.

However, Tumbarumba does have a definite advantage over many other new regions.  It is stunningly beautiful, especially in autumn. Tumbarumba also has excellent accommodation in the form of the Tumbarumba Motel  which has is to a high standard.  And as for the motels restaurant, The Elms, I can honestly say that dinner there was one of the best meals i’ve had in ages, made all that much better by being such a surprise.  It’s a travel writers cliché, but the Elms is well worth the detour.
